Perhaps, but I get the impression that your story is a little onesided. Are you habitually staying home from school? You say youve already missed too many days this year. Were you retaliating with your mother? Verbally? Physically? Are you a discipline problem? Do you have problems with authority at school?brbrThere are always sides to a story. Try to look at both sides and then decide if you are being abused. If so, its very easy to contact child protective services. You will be removed from the home and put into foster care until you are if charges of abuse if considered founded.brbrI have a lot of sympathy for truly abused kids. I was the victim of child abuse and was beaten routinely until I left home at . What I dont have sympathy for are kids who manipulate their parents by using the threat of calling CPS every time they are disciplined or yelled at. Its a very difficult decision for an abused child to try to weigh which is worse, occasional beatings or foster care. I made the choice to tough it out. If you are truly abused, you will have to decide the path for yourself.
