My stupid ipod nano... PLEASE HELP pts!?
Okay so I have an ipod nano... the regular one not the video or the chromatic... But i wanted to add other songs to it so I attached it to the cordthingy and a screen popped up on my computer and it said quotItunes has detected an ipod in recovery mode. You must restore this ipod before you can use it on Itunes...quot so i was like ??? So i took my ipod off the cord and it said on the ipod Use itunes to restore... So I pressed the restore button and it said r u sure because all your songs and other data will be earased... Soooo do I have to delete everything if i want to be able to use it??? PLEASE HELP!

Reboot your computer and see if it happens again. It may be a problem with Itunes, in which case, you just need to delete itunes from your computer and reload it. The music will still be there since it is saved to your computer and not just to itunes.brbrBut, the restore function should only erase the songs from your Ipod, and not Itunes, so if you restore it, then you can just reinstall all of the songs on your ipod because they will all still be in itunes.brbrIf you feel uncomfortable doing anything, call apple. my apple brbrTheyll be able to help you in a jiffy, and the wait is extremely short. brbrGood luck.
