The first thing I have to say is that the Wii is very fun even my parents and their friends liked it If you think your son deserves it, then you should definitely buy him one. The Wii is so easy to use. Nintendo is aiming it at all ages so theyve made it very user friendly.brbrPros Its purely intuitive, your son will be more active since the console requires movement, the games are more directed to kids so you dont have to worry about an overload of violent games, its small and compact, fun to play with other people, it comes with Wii Sports which is a very good introduction to the capabilities of the Wii, it comes with a Wii remote and nunchuck so you can play it immediately.brbrCons It doesnt play DVDs, the Wii remote batteries dont have a very long life so you have to buy a backup of batteriesor buy a charger, like i said its fun to play with friends so you have to spend money on other controllers, the graphics arent the best around but you can say they are almostDVD quality but personally i dont have a problem with this as much as other people since its all about the gameplay.brbrMy opinion is that it is worth what it costs since they made the controls so easy, fun, and accurateplus it already comes with a game. The Nintendo Wii costs . You would NOT be better off to buy a different console since this is the most familyoriented console released theyre aiming it for families, other consoles are WAY WAY WAY to expensive like the PS being and the Xbox being .
