My TV is turning itself off and on, whats going on?
It just started tonight. The TV is only about years old. Ive checked the connections, and the outlets. Other things are plugged into the same power strip and are working fine. We have changed outlets already, but its still doing it.

Observe whats going on when the tv cuts ON. is it right after it cut off? if so, did anything strange happen when it cut off, another remote being used, a flickering light? if so, then somethings interfering with it. If not, you more than likely have a problem with the standby power supply inside the tv on the main Printed Circuit board. I have seen this before, the voltage will drop, cause the tv to BEGIN to power off, then a few seconds later the power supply regains its voltage and brings the tv back on. It could also be something in the Horizontal Output circuit of the tv, partially shutting downappears the tv cut off to protect from something overloading or malfunctioning, and when the circuit thinks the problem is gone, it opens back up the horizontal circuit. brYou may want to take it to a shop, the last two scenarios can be damaging to your set if left untreated.
