Apart from Ipod which higher capacity mp player can anyone recommend?
I have had a bad experience with Apple and my GB Photo model which is broken, so now want another player but not from Apple?

I have in Iriver GB . I used to have an Ipod but it kept breaking and the customer service is shite!!!brI bought an I river beacuse A its cheaper and B you can buy a ridiculous amount of songs for it from other sources ie napster hmv digital etc where as you are limited to itunes with an ipod. Also Iriver is made with the PC in mind so it is compatible with Microsoft Windows so you dont get the problems with an apple unit made for a pc which often occurs whin you mix the two. I know of plenty of people who have experienced similar p roblems. Obviously there are other players out there which are just as good but i chose an Irver for those reasons. I have had mine for year now and had no problems. The biggest thing is cost Itunes prices stink. You can get so much more for oyur money if you opt for a different brand. I will never buy an apple again.
